What says summer more than BBQ on the grill?

My extremely messy eater! She usually gets two good sticky-food-filled handfulls of hair per meal.

 Our favorite family activity in the evenings of all times.

Have only been able to a few times this spring tho, due to the incredible heat wave we've had here all spring and summer so far. It has been well over 100* for weeks, (111* temp on our thermometer Sunday evening at 6:00 at night!!! ) Kinda kills the 'fire desire'! :)

Enjoying a cold smoothy, while still sporting a stuffed shirt which Justice told me was how pregnant woman looked. I thought it was hilarious how he used it as a prop for his drink just like we pregnant women do!

Enjoying a wrestling match with Dad. Poor Dad has been working 10-15 hour days for more than a month, - so we don't get as much time with him as we'd like!!

                                           So last week, Justice with NO warning lost his first tooth!
He was eating strawberries, - bit into one, and said worriedly "MOM- my tooth feels breaking!!"  Sure enough it was VERY loose, and after a little tenative pulling and poking popped out! I almost cried. I can NOT believe my baby is big enough to loose teeth!! Now it is pretty much in every conversation, - 'of COURSE I can do that, - for goodness sake, I lost a tooth!" He informed me this made him pretty old. :)

This summer is just whizzing by. And though the incredible heat makes fall's chilly temps sound LOVELY, I am trying to enjoy the fun summer brings for just a little longer!!
